Full Description

After the Sinha Kolama, the Naga Raksha dance is performed. The dancer wears a mask with a large cobra hood on the head, and small cobras are shown on the forehead. Even the nostrils are shaped like small cobras. The eyes of the Raksha figure are large and bulging. The Naga Raksha dance concludes with the performance of two beautifully designed Naga Raksha characters. Next appears the Gurulu Raksha, which is finely carved and decorated with a crown. It has three cobras on its head, and one cobra is held in its beak. This character performs a fast and energetic dance that amazes the audience.
