Full Description

This vessel belongs to a type known as Blue and White porcelain, which was produced during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911 AD) in China. Such vessels, found in areas adjacent to ancient ports like Galle and Trincomalee, were circulated in South Asia through 17th-century trade activities of the Dutch East India Company.
